Got a Question? We’ve Got You Covered.

Here are the most common questions we get about our services, what to expect, and how to get started — so you can feel confident before booking.

Common questions we get asked?

  • Sports Therapy focuses on recovery, injury prevention, and improving performance. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to get back to full strength, move without pain, and reduce the risk of future injuries.

  • Not at all! Sports therapy helps anyone recover from pain or stiffness, improve movement, and feel their best. Whether you’re training regularly or simply want to stay active day-to-day.

  • We’ll discuss your injury or concern, assess your movement, and identify the cause. You’ll receive hands-on treatment and/or guided rehab and leave with a clear, personalised plan.

  • A mix of hands-on techniques (massage, mobilisations, or cupping) and movement-based rehab tailored to your needs, helping you recover faster and stay stronger for longer.

  • Not usually! We always work within your comfort level. You may feel some pressure in tighter areas, but it should feel relieving, not painful.

  • Wear comfortable, flexible clothing. Shorts or a t-shirt are ideal for massage or movement-based treatments so we can assess and treat effectively.

  • Our in-person clinic is in Calverton, Nottingham, and we also offer online rehab programmes that you can complete from anywhere in the UK.

  • You can book directly online, by email, or by phone, simply choose the session type and time that suits you best.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a charge.

  • Our Thrive in Motion online rehab is ideal for anyone who wants structure, accountability, and support whether you’re recovering from injury, returning to training, or managing pain long-term.

  • Most clients use minimal equipment like resistance bands, dumbbells, or access to a gym. Your programme is always tailored to what you have available.

  • Yes! Many clients start in person, then continue online for accountability and long-term progress or mix both to stay consistent wherever they are.
